I was not able to see the last one coz i didn’t have eye protection.
Im preparing for the next one. is it safe to look at an eclipse using welding goggles?

Yes, it is perfectly safe to view all lunar eclipses with welder’s goggles.
For SOLAR eclipses, get two sheets of white cardboard. Punch a small hole in the middle of one an hold it so that the spot of light that shines through is projected onto the other board. As the eclipse progresses you will see it safely projected onto the second board, you don’t need any eye protection at all, and more than one person can view it at a time.

think about what you are risking and act accordingly. if you don’t know it’s safe, it isn’t.
Depending on weather it is a lunar eclipse or a solar eclipse. If it is a solar(sun) eclipse then its probably not a good idea. But a lunar (moon) eclipse occur than you don’t need it.
