One more thing, resistance welding, by definition involves passing current through the work piece. LBW is all heat do? to a very concentrated beam of light. Would like me to simplify it more for you?
I am not entirely sure, but I? imagine that the size can be varied as a function of laser power and the dimensions of the component being joined.
