Hi there, If the plastic you are trying to weld is a ‘thermoplastic’ then it should be possible to weld it. You can do a small test to? establish whether it is a thermoplastic or a thermoset – using a sharp blade, cut a slither of the material off the parent. If it curls up, then its a thermoplastic. If it remains very rigid and straight, then it is a thermoset. A thermoset materail is not weldable. Hope this helps.
can? this work on a grille for a 68 charger, that era of plastic?
These can? weld almost all thermoplastics, so if your welding tank is thermoplastic, its very likely you can weld it.
