How much different would this have been? using a stainless steel pipe? I love my tig finger. Use it every day at work.
I want to add to my? comment: if you’re good with the arc welder you can weld pretty much anything! I would rather be really good with arc/mig than tig!
4:16 – thousands of thousands of hours of practice right there. Miss TIG welding, haven’t done it for 3 months now since i quit my job. I did mostly stainless 316, but also different stainless steel, titanium and alu a few times. I think pipewelding is fun and challenging. Also you should make it hard, because the harder – the more fun. I think pipewelding with arc/mig is also fun, and alot more useful, because most people? don’t have a tig machine in their garage. Tig welding is very expensive.
