Calculate Electricity Cost
How to Use the Electricity Cost Calculator
This calculator estimates the cost of electricity based on your device’s power usage, the number of hours it runs, and the rate your utility company charges per kilowatt-hour (kWh).
Power Usage (Watts): Enter the wattage of the appliance or device you want to calculate cost for.
Usage Time (Hours): Enter how many hours the device is used.
Electricity Rate: Input your electricity cost per kilowatt-hour (kWh), usually found on your electric bill.
The calculator uses the formula: Cost = (Power (W) × Hours) ÷ 1000 × Rate (per kWh).
Note: This is an estimate. Actual bills may vary due to additional fees or taxes.
